How to Set Up Your Comment-to-DM Workflow
Follow these simple steps to get your automation running in minutes.
Start with a Template:
From your Ocoya dashboard, navigate to Automation and then Workflows.
Click Create and select the Engagement tab.
Choose the DM automator template to get started quickly.
Select Your Post:
Click on the New comment trigger block.
Select your social Page and then choose the specific published post you want this automation to apply to.
Set Your Keyword:
Next, click the Filter block.
Set the rule to only continue if the comment Text contains your chosen keyword (for example, "send," "info," or "deal"). This is not case-sensitive.
Compose Your Messages:
Send DM: Click this block to write the direct message that will be sent to the user. You can add a greeting and a link to your website or offer.
Reply in comments: Click this block to configure the public reply. It's best practice to add a few different reply options (e.g., "Sent! Check your DMs," or "Just messaged you!") so your replies look more natural.
Go Live:
Once you've saved all your steps, simply click the Set live button at the top of the page.
That's it! Now, when someone comments on your post with your chosen keyword, your automation will instantly reply in the comments and send them a direct message.
