Once your Bluesky account is connected (see Connecting your Bluesky account to Ocoya), you can create and schedule Bluesky posts directly from Ocoya.

1. Click Create new, then choose New post.

2. Select your Bluesky channel. Connected profiles appear as avatars above the caption box, each with a small platform badge. Click the one carrying the Bluesky butterfly — a selected channel is highlighted with a ring, and hovering shows the profile name. Click again to deselect. You can select several channels at once, or click + to connect another profile.

3. Write your post. Keep an eye on the character count in the top-right — Bluesky's 300-character limit is lower than most platforms.

4. Switch to the Preview tab to see the post rendered as it will appear on Bluesky, with your handle and Bluesky's reply, repost and like controls.

5. Click Schedule to choose a date, time and time zone, or Post now to publish straight away.

Scheduled posts appear on your content calendar and publish automatically at the chosen time.

Bluesky supports up to 300 characters per post. Ocoya will warn you if your text goes over.

The 1 MB image limit is strict — images larger than this will fail to publish, so compress before uploading.

These Bluesky features aren't currently available in Ocoya:

At least one channel must be selected. Check that the Bluesky avatar above the caption box is highlighted with a ring — if all avatars look dimmed, nothing is selected.

Check that:

Links must include https:// or http://, otherwise they publish as plain text.

Video posting may require a verified Bluesky account, and videos must be within Bluesky's duration and size limits.
