Written by Joe

With Ocoya, you can connect your Google Business Profile and schedule posts and updates alongside your other social media channels.

Connecting your Google Business Profile

Google Business Profile uses Google OAuth for third-party integrations, so you'll sign in with the Google account that manages your business listing.

Important notes

  • You'll need to be an owner or manager of the Google Business Profile listing to connect it.

  • If you manage multiple business locations, make sure you're signed in to the Google account that has access to the location you want to connect.

  • Ocoya requests permission to manage your business listing on your behalf.

Troubleshooting Google Business connection issues

Connection fails or doesn't complete

If the connection doesn't go through on the first attempt:

  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting the account from Connections.

  • Make sure pop-ups aren't being blocked by your browser during the Google sign-in step.

  • Confirm you selected the correct Google account if you have multiple accounts signed in.

Business profile not showing in the picker

Make sure you're signed in to the Google account that actually manages the listing in Google Business Profile Manager, and that you have the necessary permissions on that listing.
