With Ocoya, you can connect your YouTube channel and schedule video uploads alongside your other social media content.
Connecting your YouTube account
YouTube uses Google OAuth for third-party integrations, so you'll sign in with the Google account that manages your channel.
Important notes
You'll need to be an owner or manager of the YouTube channel (or the Google Brand Account it belongs to) to connect it.
If your channel is managed under a Brand Account, Google will ask you to choose which account to connect on behalf of.
Ocoya requests permission to read your channel details and upload videos on your behalf.
Connecting a YouTube account
Navigate to Connections in Ocoya, click Browse all, find YouTube and click Connect.
2. Sign in with the Google account that manages your channel and select the correct channel (or Brand Account) from the profile picker.
3. Confirm the connection. Your YouTube channel will now appear in your list of connected profiles.
Your YouTube account is now connected and ready to use when creating posts.
Troubleshooting YouTube connection issues
Connection fails or doesn't complete
If the connection doesn't go through on the first attempt:
Try disconnecting and reconnecting the account from Connections.
Make sure pop-ups aren't being blocked by your browser during the Google sign-in step.
Confirm you selected the correct Google account if you have multiple accounts signed in.
Channel not showing in the profile picker
Make sure you're signed in to the Google account that actually owns or manages the channel, and that the channel isn't restricted by your organization's Google Workspace settings.
